Persimmon Leather Candy

Let's talk persimmons!

This amazing fruit is not only delicious but also versatile. With just a bunch of soft persimmons, you can create homemade, healthy, and mouthwatering soft candies right in your kitchen!

  • Ingredients:

A bunch of wilting soft persimmons

Directions:

  1. Remove the pulp from the skin using a spoon or a butter knife.

  2. Mash the pulp with a fork for a "rustic" texture or blend it for a smoother consistency.

  3. ⁠Spread the purée onto your dryer's racks or onto baking sheets if using an oven (set at 40°C).

  4. Allow the purée to dry for about 18 to 24 hours, depending on your dryer/oven, until you can flip it easily.

  5. Once dried, 5. flip the purée and let it finish drying on the other side.

  6. ⁠Roll the dried purée and cut it into slices.

  7. ⁠And voilà! Your homemade persimmon leather candy is ready to enjoy!
