FAQs for Bursaries, booking and payments
-
Our bursary fund is to assist young not yet independent people (18-30 years old) who cannot pay the full contribution to join all the duration of the residential programme. Whilst we do try to open up as many places as we can, we always have many more applications than we have places. If you are able to pay, we recommend that you do book a full-price place as we sell out quickly. If not, we will let you know if you have secured a scholarship at least one month before the start of the residential programme. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note, our bursary is available only for those who commit to the full residential programme.
-
Deposit
Once you have transferred your deposit to secure your spot, you need to ensure that the full contribution is completed at least two weeks before the start of the programme. You will receive an email notifying you about any remaining balance you need to transfer, at least one month before the programme starts.
Can I pay for my place in installments?
First secure your place with transferring the deposit then contact info@thetransmissionschool.org to set up 3 further installments. All contributions must be completed before the start of the programme.
-
I have been hit financially by the current situation can you offer a discount?
We try and make our courses as accessible as possible by costing them as low as we are able, and providing a sliding scale. Also, we offer as many bursary places on all our courses. We are always looking for funding so we can do more. However at this time we are not in a position to offer additional discounts.
Can I have a refund for courses I have booked and no longer wish to attend?
No, refunds are not available. However, we are happy to offer a credit for the amount you have contributed, which can be applied toward another course you may wish to attend in the future.

During the residential programme, animals are not allowed, except for guide dogs, to ensure a harmonious environment for all participants, including our territorial pug, Chuby. For shorter visits, exceptions can be considered if the animal is well-behaved, and someone can fully care for them during classes to avoid confining them to the bedroom.

If your child is under two and is breast feeding and can co-sleep in your bed then they can come for free, otherwise please book a separate child place.
